Kingsland Needle Minder FG140

Beautiful functional pieces of art that are fabulous!

One-of-a-kind fused glass needle minders. Each thoughtfully crafted piece is fired multiple times in a digitally controlled kiln at over 1400 degrees. Sizes vary from 1.0 inches to 2.5 inches, so they work well with all needle work projects. Strong neodymium magnets are attached to the back and will hold your needle minder in place on your project as well as keep you needles secure to the needle minder.

They also make thoughtful, one-of-a-kind gifts for your favorite stitchers. They are made with raw glass from industry leading glass manufacturers.

Size is approximately 1.2" x 0.9"

Fused glass is the process of layering sheets or pieces of glass, sometimes adding frit (crushed glass), and firing it in a kiln until the glass melts together, sometimes doing multiple firings per item with each firing taking more than 12 hours to complete.

Photography of glass especially dichroic glass is difficult to capture the depth and beauty of a piece.
