Julia tells us
The Lady Garden is a horticultural hybrid, much like the blowsy tea roses created in France in the mid 1800’s. It’s rooted in good Quaker soil with many of the plants having been shipped across the choppy North Sea from nurseries in the Low Countries.

The rabbits and squirrels are native fauna of the British Isles but who knows where those birds come from, they just wafted in on the breeze.

Stitch count is 205 x 242 stitches
We suggest stitching on 32 count Light Ash Grey linen from Zweigart and stitching with 2 strands of Dark Navy Blue DMC Cotton floss over 2 threads.
