A design inspired by antique embroidery

An antique adaptation from a piece of Hungarian embroidery in my collection. I hope that stitchers can focus on their intention for the New Year with this design that‘s easy to personalise. Bring on #NewYearStitching!

Model stitched on 40-count white linen, 1 strand over 2, using Cottage Garden Threads ‘Raspberry‘ (closest DMC is 302). It can, of course, be stitched in any colour, or colour combination. If stitched on 40-count, it fits into a standard 8x10-inch frame.

6-page clear black-and-white chart with colour cover. The design uses full crosses over 2, backstitch and Smyrna crosses.
