Counted Cross Stitch pattern, Jack‘s Candle Pocket, designed by Paulette Stewart of Plum Street Samplers. This is a very easy project to complete and there is the tutorial for finishing included in the chart pack. Paulette chose to design the year 1867 on the pocket because while looking up some information on jack o‘lanterns, she came across a site that told of the first image of a carved pumpkin being published in an 1867 issue of Harper‘s Weekly. You will surely enjoy stitching this little pocket, which can be used for not just candles, but candy corn, bittersweet, dried flowers, anything your heart desires!

Stitch count: 66w x 111h
Fabric used: 36 ct. Desert Taipan Linen.
Threads used: Colour and Cotton in Chocolate Cherry, Up on the Rooftop, Pumpkin Spice, Turmeric, Laurel Wreath, Marsh, and Browned Butter; DMC in Ecru and 3776.
