"In my work, I keep coming back to the beautiful folklore traditions of the Nordic countries, and in particular those of Hälsingland in Sweden. This design was started a few years ago after visiting the Nordiska Museet in Stockholm, where a large collection of textiles is on display. The traditional red thread on the white linen is so simple but effective, and it always inspires me in my work. I named it Hälsingland Blommor – Flowers from Hälsingland."
