FIG FOLK
This time of year generally calls for vampire bats, but let‘s not forget about their flying-fox- cousins, the fruit bats! Fruit bats love fruit (figs being a favorite), nectar, and flowers. The bats themselves were quite a challenge to design, but I really had fun with them!

Stitch count: 54w x 91h
Fabric used: 36 ct. Saltbush by Fox and Rabbit
Threads used: DMC in 407, 435, 632, 642, 950, and 3022; Weeks Dye Works in Mascara, Bark, Crimson, Brick, and Grits; Classic Colorworks in Pine Needle, Pea Pod, Jakey Brown, and Misty Mauve.
Trim used: Lady Dot Creates chenille in Mossy
